Introducing Push Notifications
Great news, we have now enabled Push Notifications for cuOnline and cuMobile.
We are pleased to announce this enhancement, which allows you to access your online banking even when you are in a bad signal area or having phone network issues.
Messages sent that were normally delivered by email or sms can now be sent via push notification.
You just need to ensure you have the push notification enabled version of cuMobile. (Most phones run these updates automatically but you may need to update your Waterford Credit Union App to the latest version).
Enable Notifications
The first time you open your Waterford Credit Union App after it has been updated it will prompt you to “Allow” or “Don’t Allow” notifications. Select “Allow”.
Alternatively, you can switch notifications on or off in your settings. See Apple and Android settings below;
Logging in Online
When logging in on your Waterford Credit Union App you will follow the normal process:
1. Enter Username
2. Enter Password
3. Generate One Time Passcode (OTP)
You can now decide if you would like to receive your OTP by push notification or by sms.
Once you have notifications enabled on your phone you can also log in to cuOnline on a pc or laptop and the push notification will pop-up on your mobile phone.
Yours in Community,
Waterford Credit Union
